Murder of woman in Begusarai
A woman was shot dead in Begusarai. The woman’s brother-in-law has been accused of murder. The incident took place in Bind Toli of Chakia police station area. There was panic in the area after the incident. There was a crowd of people nearby. Here, as soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and started investigating. The police have detained two people including the brother-in-law of the deceased woman in the case. He is being interrogated.

One dead in road accident in Bettiah
Two bikes collided head-on in Bettiah. In this, the person riding the bike died tragically on the spot. The condition of the other person remains critical. The incident took place near Rajghat bridge of Majholia police station area of the district. His treatment is going on in GMCH Bettiah. The deceased has been identified as 45-year-old Jamdar Mahato, son of Prayag Mahato, resident of Shyampur Baithaniya village of Majhauliya police station area. The injured person has been identified as Manoj Yadav, 35, resident of Amwa village.

Fierce collision between gas laden truck and car in Patna
There was a direct collision between a gas laden truck and a car early on Sunday morning near Maharani Chowk in Fatuha, Patna. The collision was so severe that the car was blown to pieces. In this accident, two people traveling in the car died, while three were injured. All the injured have been referred to PMCH in Patna, where the condition of all is critical. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police of Fatuha police station reached the spot and started investigating the matter.

Cuttack man and woman killed by train in Muzaffarpur
A man and a woman died after being hit by a train in Muzaffarpur. The incident took place near Muzaffarpur-Samastipur down line. The deceased has been identified as Amit Kumar Ojha (45), resident of Barji village of Motipur police station area. After the incident, the police has started investigating the matter.

Life imprisonment to four in murder case
After the hearing of the murder case in Bettiah, four people including father and son and three real brothers have been sentenced to life imprisonment. After completing the hearing, a fine of Rs 40,000 each along with four years imprisonment has been imposed. On the point of sentencing on Saturday, District Sessions Judge Ashok Kumar Manjhi, after hearing the arguments in the case, sentenced the convicted accused Udham Yadav, Shambhu Yadav, Dhanai Yadav and Lutan Yadav to life imprisonment. The judge sentenced each convicted person to 40 rupees imprisonment. Also ordered to pay a fine of thousand rupees.
